Hope Ketubah Text
In the presence of our loved ones, filled with hope, we say these words and exchange our rings as we intertwine our lives in a brit of love and commitment. “With these rings, we consecrate ourselves in marriage according to the traditions of Moses and Israel.”
We affirm our commitment to an equal partnership, rooted in mutual respect. We promise to cherish each other’s unique strengths and talents, supporting one another’s dreams and aspirations. We will work together in fulfilling our mutual goals with generosity and determination. We embrace this journey together, knowing that hand in hand, we will navigate life’s twists and turns, sharing in joys and offering comfort.
With gratitude, we honor the traditions that have shaped us and the values that guide us. Our home will be a place where Jewish values shine brightly, fostering a sense of belonging, compassion, and Tikkun Olam, allowing us to extend our love and support to all who enter our lives with righteousness and lovingkindness. Together, we will weave the threads of our Jewish heritage into the fabric of our lives, using the rituals, traditions, and celebrations passed down dor le-dor, from generation to generation, to enrich the texture of our lives.
May our love be a guiding light as we traverse the unknown, may our shared values strengthen and inspire us, and may our lives be filled with blessings, growth, and endless discoveries.
