About the Ketubah Arts Logo
The figure in my logo is inspired by Gustav Klimt’s Beethoven Frieze (1902) (click the image to read more about it), where a woman holding a lyre stands for Poetry: the moment when art turns struggle into joy.
That image speaks directly to what I do. Rooted in each piece is the philosophy that art is not only decoration: it is the essence of being human. Through making, we mirror the act of creation itself, shaping beauty from raw material, giving form to what is unseen. In that process we touch the divine, because to make is to participate in the same creative energy that brought the world into being. Whether in painting, poetry, music, dance, a meal shared in a garden, or the warmth of a handmade sweater, making connects us to one another and to something larger than ourselves.
In this way of thinking, beauty and art are not escapes from reality or hobbies, but ways to live fully, to be joyful, to connect with God. This is the spirit behind every design and every line of text. Making art is how I share joy in existence and each ketubah I create joins art and words to make joy tangible for couples and their families.
