Custom designed and hand painted ketubot are very labor intensive and usually cost between $2500-3500 depending on how many hours are involved. For couples who really want a lot of input into the design, the hours can really add up fast.

It depends on many factors, such as timing (November is easier than April), how complicated the design is, and how decisive the couple is. It can be any time between 2 weeks to 6 months.
