I’m here to help and make getting a ketubah easy

Ginny Reel is the artist behind Ketubah-Arts, handles all aspects of the business, and will answer your questions

How long does it take to get a ketubah?

2-4 weeks plus shipping time is a good estimate if you are really organized and respond to proofs quickly. Proofs are usually ready in 1-2 Business Days and revisions are ready next Business Day. Printing can take up to 10 Business Days.

If you are ordering with less than 3 weeks before your wedding, please choose Paper or Loose Canvas. (Mounted Paper, Gallery Canvas, and Metal take longer). And be sure to have all of your information ready to go.

I recommend ordering at least 1-2 months before your wedding. In a pinch, you can get your ketubah faster, but it helps to have all your materials ready to go.

How much does a ketubah cost?

Please click on the design you are interested in to see details about prices, sizes, and materials available. In general, paper is the least expensive (but still the artist's recommendation for the lovely texture and print quality). Larger sizes cost more money.

Can I speak with you on the phone?

The best and fastest way to get in touch with me is by email. I usually answer very quickly (I promise, you aren't emailing into an abyss).

Email allows me to answer thoroughly and thoughtfully and send you all the relevant information. Plus, it allows me to keep track of details for your order even if you haven't placed it yet. I rarely accept phone appointments because written communication works better to get the job done.

Can I use a custom text?

Yes, but with some conditions:

1. Permission to use it from the Copyright holder must be obtained by you.
2. Editable format so that there is no retyping (doc, rtf, txt).
3. Extra long texts may not fit every design

How do I send my custom text to you?

You can send it as an attachment to an email to ginny@ketubah-arts.com. The best formats are doc, rtf, or txt.

Can I make changes to the text or signature lines?

Yes. The text and signature lines are fully customizable. However, if you are using a mostly custom text, I recommend hiring an outside translator for the Hebrew (I keep a list if you need a referral). Translations for custom texts are not included in the ketubah price.

Do you send proofs before sending the ketubah?

YES. And I won't print until you're ready!

Can I buy a copy of a custom ketubah?

Some of the custom ketubot have been made into prints, but most are not available. However, if I get a lot of inquires about a certain custom design, often I will make something similar available, so don't be afraid to let me know.
